The Senior Front End Engineer for our Creative Marketing team is a unique opportunity for you to play an integral part in one of the most dynamic marketing teams in the country. You will be partnering with Art, Production and marketing managers to develop immersive content across a range of sites reflecting Conversant and Epsilon. Standardization and automation will be basic tenets of your methodology as you help to streamline development efforts, reduce redundancies across build processes and optimize time spent developing components and features. This allows you to focus on more engaging and rewarding development initiatives over the long-term, all with the end goal of elevating the brand voice across the digital ecosystem.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Development, documentation, testing, and deployment of page templates in a CMS (35%)
  • Maintain and enhance existing site solutions (35%)
  • Work with Marketing and Creative teams to identify best practices, opportunities for site enhancements across design and development  (20%)
  • Will be a partner in outlining scope for larger scale site design and development, including migration to alternate platforms, integrating new development frameworks and managing inbound requests (10%)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
 

You are a highly motivated, detail-oriented professional able to support the needs of the Creative Marketing team at Conversant.  You will possess the following skills:

  • Familiarity with various CMS platforms (HubSpot, WordPress, Drupal, AEM, Squarespace)
  • Expert-level knowledge and understanding of HTML5, CSS
  • Proficient working with and developing in JavaScript
  • Experience working with Version Control Systems (Git, SVN, Perforce)
  • Experience creating automated tests
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities
  • Strong collaborator and communicator
  • Proficiency in the application of creative/design solutions to marketing strategies
  • Proven track record of excelling in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with many simultaneous projects
  • Thrives in a team environment and able to build off of others ideas
  • Ability to stay ahead of and apply the newest technologies as well as an understanding of how and when to use it
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 7+ years of experience developing and successfully deploying websites
