Wishbone Club is a subsidiary of Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC).

This position will be based in our Chicago, IL, office.

Job Duties:

• Own the Wishbone mobile app.

• As a member of the development team working on developing solutions to designs and developing best-in-class enterprise-grade products.

• Work on building and enhancing Wishbone react native app for both android and iOs.

• Work on publishing the app on Google App store and Android play store.

• Integrate app with Firebase for both iOS and Android.

• Work with product owner to get business requirement and translate those technical requirements.

• Will work and re architect modules as necessary.

• Operate in an agile development environment & deliver functionality to production in a CI delivery model.

• Evolve the front-end architecture, tooling, and performance monitoring, to ensure product development teams can build quickly and test efficiently, while not sacrificing quality.

• Participate in design and code reviews.

• Evolve our UI component library, standards and best practices to streamline development and ensure consistency across products.

Skills:

• At least 8 to 10 years as a fullstack engineer who is extremely hands-on and can lead, build new components and perform troubleshooting and resolution of issues quickly

• Able to coordinate and work effectively on different components of the product.

• Extremely hands-on building applications with React Native, React, webpack, parcel, node, Firebase

• Extremely strong with javascript, typescripts, algorithms

• Experience in building and deploying react native apps on both iOS and Android devices. Strong end to end knowledge in driving app publishing on Apple and Android App store

• Has decent experience in building API backend using either Java/Kotlin/Golang/Scala

• Strong knowledge and institute practice of test driven development for both frontend and backend components
