Sr Infrastructure Engineer - Integrations

West Monroe is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our Corporate IT team, branded Information & Collaboration Technology (ICT). As a primary focus, the senior engineer will collaborate in a team environment day-to-day to help support the architecture, engineering, configuration, deployment, and maintenance of highly available IT infrastructure solutions that enable our employee-owned firm to thrive and grow.
As an ad hoc, secondary focus for this role, the senior engineer will lead migration/integration work that comes from the firm’s M&A activity. In the event of an acquisition, this role will involve conducting due diligence on the target company, preparing migration strategy, and ensuring the acquired company’s IT infrastructure integrates successfully into West Monroe’s overarching, parent environment. Successful candidates will have proven experience designing and implementing cutting-edge infrastructure technologies and be comfortable leading migration efforts for merging IT environments as necessary.
Responsibilities:
• Work with ICT infrastructure teammates to own the engineering, integrations, configuration, deployment, administration, and support of an enterprise IT infrastructure environment
• Embrace ITIL and Agile methods to assess current state IT/business processes, gather functional and technical requirements, and identify areas where new solutions can be deployed for a more efficient infrastructure
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments and technology teams to implement cloud and infrastructure solutions that support newly introduced business and technical functions
• Monitor performance of ICT systems, platforms, and tools to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving firmwide infrastructure
• Stay abreast of advancements in the industry, assess potential vendors, and help advocate for the business case to introduce cutting-edge solutions to the firm
• Proficient communication and project management skills in a fast-paced, high-growth corporate IT environment
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred, or equivalent experience required
• Professional Services and/or Consulting industry experience preferred
• 5-8+ years of experience in an IT infrastructure engineering role covering areas such as systems, servers, cloud services, automation, virtualization, networking, storage, hosting, tools/application platforms, etc.
• Hands-on implementation experience with multiple/any of the following: Windows Server/OS, Microsoft 365 suite, Active Directory/Azure AD, MS Exchange, PowerShell, Azure Services, Amazon Web Services (AWS), virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V), deployment tools (SCCM, MDT), routers/switches and firewalls (Cisco, Juniper)
• Experience in on-premise to cloud migrations and infrastructure solution upgrade projects
• Ability to seek out and learn new cloud and infrastructure solutions that will enable delivery of cutting-edge technology services for the firm
• Proficient communication and project management in a fast-paced, high-growth corporate IT environment
