Only US based candidates will be considered. This is an exciting opportunity to join an agile team, working on some of the hottest cloud technologies. The Cloud Operations Engineering team is responsible for ensuring our client’s Cloud environments are available, secure and performant. The team is responsible for servicing customer requests, incidents management and driving continuous improvement of the core platform and ultimately ensuring high customer satisfaction with the service. Your role will be to manage the day-to-day operations of the team in the US and UK and provide hands on guidance to ensure customer requests are resolved in a timely manner to the requisite level of quality. You will have a strong technical background working with Microsoft Azure technologies and don’t mind rolling up your sleeves to help the team. This is going to be a challenging role as you break down the barriers that exist today and grow the maturity of the technical functions and process model. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills. You will show courage as you continue to drive the cloud operations function into a globally resilient function. You will quickly build the right rhythm within the business and identify the correct KPIs to focus on. You will work with key stakeholders to ensure a globally consistent delivery model is implemented and we are able to make best use of the shared services model. You will establish and operate a consistent service improvement plan to drive continuous innovation within the team and ensure these are communicated more broadly to the organization
