GiveSmart is seeking Java developers to join our small, but dedicated team. Our agile workflow is designed to help our Software Developers take ownership of solutions they build by working collaboratively with stakeholders across our company. Being test-driven since day one, we have built-in confidence in the reliability of our platform as we continue to grow.

We're looking for someone who 

• Enjoys collaborating and mentoring in a team environment
• Has excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Has strong Java skills with an emphasis on Web Application design and development
• Can develop, scale and maintain highly available RESTful web services
• Has a thorough understanding of SQL and data modeling
• Can be a strong practitioner of Automated Testing and TDD
• Has experience working with AWS or other cloud service
• Is proficient with Git for version control and code review
• Has 5+ years of experience

We'll see it as a bonus if you also bring

• Experience with jUnit, Selenium for testing
• Experience with Jira for project management
• Experience with EC2, S3, Lambda and other AWS services
• Knowledge of mobile web, text messaging, HTML/CSS/JavaScript/JSON and browser APIs.
• Understanding of Machine Learning
