Job Duties

Sr. Software Engineers for Chicago, IL location. Design, develop, plan, customize and support software and related mobile applications. Analyze, test and assist to integrate new applications. Conduct analysis to determine integration needs. Track performance metrics. Identify product and technical requirements. Perform design and code reviews, and work with Quality Assurance team to ensure applications meet specification and technical requirements. Assist in selection of technologies and tool sets for realizing solutions based on business requirements. Mentor and coach junior engineers. Technical Environment: Kanban, pair programming, TDD, BDD, Lean Principles, JavaSE, JavaEE, spring, RDBMS, SQL, MySQL, NoSql, Rest/SOAP API definition and implementation, iBatis/My Batis, Messaging :ActiveMQ, Scrum, Junit, Log4J, Spring AOP, Jenkins, Server-Tomcat, IDE-Spring Tool Suite, Maven, distributed/cloud computing solutions, Bitbucket for version control, git, Mockito, Cucumber testing framework, PMD, Checkstyle, Findbugs, Cobertura, Spring boot, Storm, Kafka, Zookeper, Hermes.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Applications or Computer Engineering or any Engineering field plus three years of experience in the job offered or with software development OR Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Applications or Computer Engineering or any Engineering field plus five years of experience in the job offered or with software development required.
