Job Duties

Analyze, research, develop and test software applications.  Code software applications using J2EE. Develop software development best practices, system scalability, performance tuning. Create and execute unit test plans. Participate in and lead functional and technical specification reviews. Create and execute integration level test plans. Develop detailed technical analysis and design specifications based on functional requirements. Research technical solutions to business problems. Research and correct complex defects. Technical Environment: Java, J2EE, EJB, JBoss, XML, JMS, JAXB, SQL, JDBC, JSP, JQuery, AngularJS, HTML, CSS, AJAX, JSF, Spring/Hibernate, SOAP/REST services, Oracle SQL and pl/sql, web application architecture, design patterns, messaging systems, microservice architectures, Docker, Kubernetes, Unix/Linux, Oracle BPEL, Eclipse, JDeveloper, SVN, ClearCase, Maven, Hudson/Jenkins, continuous integration technologies, developing database structure in test driven development, Agile, JUnit, Vue Java Script.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Computer Science/Applications or Computer Information Systems/Technology or Computer Engineering or any Engineering field or related field plus two years of experience in the job offered or with software development OR Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Applications or Computer Information Systems/Technology or Computer Engineering or any Engineering field or related field plus five years of progressive experience in the job offered or with software development required.  Required Skills: Experience developing JAVA applications, best practices, system scalability, performance tuning; web application architecture, Oracle BPEL, Java, J2EE, JBOSS, XML, JAXB, JDBC, JSP, JQuery, AngularJS, HTML, CSS, AJAX, JSF, Spring, Hibernate, SOAP/REST services, Oracle, SQL Server, pl/sql, design patterns, messaging systems, microservice architectures, Unix/Linux, Eclipse, JDeveloper, SVN, ClearCase, Maven, Hudson/Jenkins, developing database structure in test driven development, Agile, JUnit.
