Job summary:
This is a position within the QA engineering team working under the guidance of the QA manager. The Senior Software QA Engineer must be a detail and process oriented, independent, self-motivated individual with a proven track record of experience testing software in diverse enterprise environments for multiple platforms. This position will report to the QA Manager and will work in the El Dorado Hills, California office. This position will accommodate work from home or remote operation. Occasional office presence may be requested or required.
Responsibilities:
- Testing and verifying Keeper applications per our standardized QA process.
- Setup and configure test tools as needed to accomplish testing goals.
- Work with Jira and Confluence to process tickets and document work as
- required.
- Work with Testrail to perform test cases and update test cases.
- Configure desktop and mobile operating systems and applications to conduct
- application testing.
- Work with web browsers and other tools used within enterprise environments.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Experience with enterprise environments and network operations, ideally with a background as a system administrator
- Robust knowledge of TCP/IP networking and enterprise networks.
- Good understanding of fault tolerance and multi-tenancy concepts and implementations, such as load balancers and proxies.
- Good and hands-on knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP and Identity Management concepts.
- Solid knowledge of standard enterprise operating systems, such as Windows 10, Mac OS X, Linux, Windows Server.
- Good understanding and hands-on experience with virtualization and containerization (VMware, Docker)
- Good understanding and hands-on experience with Cloud environments (AWS, Azure)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of routing and switching protocols is a plus
- Knowledge of SAML and SCIM a plus
- Testing on Windows and Mac OSX
- Good understanding of fault tolerance, multi-tenancy
- Skilled in building robust, scale-able, and high-quality test plans for functional and regression testing
- Ability to build test strategy and work independently on complex projects
- Experience with JavaScript/HTML/CSS
