JOB DUTIES:
The Senior Software Test Engineer will analyze business requirement to develop and execute manual and automation test cases and validate the functionalities, code quality, and report test results; Will provide functional and automation testing of features and capabilities of employer applications; Will perform all testing activities of new and existing software products, project management, and quality assurance assignments and the complex aspects of systems; Will Perform systems, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing and ensure . timely, quality results; Will document software issues and defects in bug tracking software and monitor for resolution. Will manage tasks end to end. Will do POCs on emerging test tools and enhance existing systems and processes; Will lead testing and automations efforts in various work streams, working closely with stakeholder and by collaboration across teams; Will mentor other engineers on test strategies, test automation, coding standards and best practices through code reviews and designing test plans.
Required qualifications: • Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Management Information Systems or foreign equivalent or related area. • 5 years of experience in testing frameworks architecture for API to support continuous integration, functionality, and regression testing, web technology including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, CSV, JSON, and HTTP; testing and automating web services using Selenium, SoapUI, Test NG, and Junit; developing software using Java, functional UI testing and web service testing; writing SQL queries and procedures to do DB testing in database including SQL Server. Should have two (2) years of experience using CI/CD Pipelines, Jenkins and Git.
