Department OverviewThe Software Enterprise Deployment and Integration team is the team that delivers solutions to the public safety sector. We are committed to providing technology and tools which will allow customers to focus on their mission, and enable them to respond faster with smarter and safer decisions. We deploy and support products such as Computer Aided Dispatch, Records Management Systems, Jail Management Systems and Mobile Data Computing, among other offerings.
Job Description
The System Integration and Fulfillment team delivers solutions to the public safety sector both on premise and in the cloud. We are committed to providing technology and tools which will allow customers to focus on their mission enabling them to respond faster with smarter and safer decisions. We deploy and support products such as Computer Aided Dispatch, Records Management Systems, Data Analytics, and Command Central.
Travel is a must; this position is a customer facing role and requires 25-50% travel.
Be a dynamic communicator and love working with people of all levels.
BS degree in Computer science/IT or related degree - preferred
Have 8+ years’ experience in multiple IT disciplines such as:
Server Hardware
Server Virtualisation
Networking
Firewalls
SAN Storage
Databases servers (MS SQL)
Must love developing solutions for integrating systems into complex environments.
Must thrive on problem solving and troubleshooting
Advanced Network knowledge is required including dynamic routing, multitenant networks, and data center networking.
VDI Experience is critical
Must thrive on troubleshooting networks in a multivendor/multitenant environment
Experience with cloud technologies preferred
Must be able to pass an extensive background checks

This position is subject to working in high security areas governed by the US Department of Justice's "Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy" and therefore requires successfully passing a more stringent fingerprint background check administered by Motorola Solutions Inc. customers.
Basic Requirements
At least 8 years IT or Engineering experience in a high tech environment.
Must be able to obtain background clearance as required by government customer.
