As a Staff Backend Engineer, you will:

• Drive the continued design and development of mission critical backend systems
• Work on a multi-year greenfield project to improve the efficiency and quality of benefit plan design and management
• Mentor and guide other members of the team
• Help establish best practices and a healthy technical team culture

Our backend services follow microservices architecture written using Java and Spring; we use cloud services (AWS). Collective Health stores data in a set of PostgreSQL databases and utilizes Python & Spark for large scale data workloads. We have both Angular/template-based model and React-driven architecture for our front end.
