About the Team:

The Technology team utilizes the latest technological trends to effectively build and manage solutions in an informal, open and collaborative environment.

Position Overview:

Within Camelot Illinois, the Technical Security Analyst is responsible for maintaining information security compliance best practices such as ISO27001, WLA-SCS, PCI-DSS, MUSL standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively work as part of the information security team to support secure delivery of business objectives.
  • Conduct internal audits of the Camelot Information Security Management System.
  • Update the Information Security Management System, and the associated policies and processes to meet changing business needs.
  • Responsibility for quarterly security committee meetings.
  • Understand and own PCI compliance.
  • Liaise with BSI on our ISO27001 and WLA SCS compliance.
  • Assist with the development and maturity of security metrics and performance measures.
  • Support to the Technical Security Manager in reviewing changes being proposed by projects.
  • Apply best practices and knowledge of internal and external business challenges to improve products, processes and services.
  • Work to broaden skills within the technical teams.
  • Has a broad information security understanding and is able to undertake risk analysis based on this.
  • Solve complex technical problems; take a new perspective on existing solutions, occasionally identifying innovative solutions.
  • Interpret customer needs; assess requirements and identifies solutions to non-standard requests.
  • Implement and adapt technical policies and solutions with the aim of improved efficiency and effectiveness across own team.
  • Explain difficult issues and work to build consensus.
  • Make decisions that impact priorities and allocation of time to meet deadlines.
  • Accountability for technical contributions to project teams.
  • Build awareness of work related costs.

Requirements

Required:

  • 2 plus years experience working in information security or equivalent educational experience.
  • Previous responsibilities relating to security governance and compliance activities.
  • Experience undertaking risk assessments.

Preferred:

  • Information security management qualifications such as CISSP or CISM.
  • Strong attention to details.
  • Willingness to learn and implement the latest technologies.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team and leadership.
