WHAT WILL YOU DO

The UI/UX Engineer will work alongside the Product and Engineering teams to help design and implement the look and feel of features on the Edovo platform.  Responsibilities include the following: 

 

  • Work with the Product Team to develop functional, clear, user-friendly designs

  • Work alongside software engineers to implement the designs.

  • Be the domain expert on UI best practices, frameworks, and tools.

  • Improve and maintain existing assets across multiple applications.

  • Be a voice and domain expert for best practices around user experience (information hierarchy and interactions).

  • Work alongside the Product Team on user research and rapidly prototyping and user testing ideas.

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Proficient with CSS, HTML, Sass.

  • Proficient implementing designs inside a JavaScript framework (we use React).

  • Experience working with UI Frameworks such as Bootstrap or Material Design.

  • Experience working on products or product lines that serve a mix of external user types and internal users.

  • A strong understanding of UX/UI concepts and interface usability with a demonstrated record of good design flow in interactive applications.

  • High attention to detail, including proven ability to manage multiple projects.

  • Effective in a self–motivated environment to proactively ask or gather the information you need to complete your work efficiently.

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.

  • Detail oriented.
