Responsibilities:
- This position will primarily be Software Development and Support, but will also consist of approximately 25% Level 1 Help Desk when needed.
- Monitor, maintain, and update variety of corporate websites – both custom built and those running on CMS platforms like WordPress.
- Create and update internal web based tools leveraging LAMP stack and Windows web servers using PHP, HTML, CSS, Javascript, MySql, etc.
- Basic photo editing and manipulating utilizing tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, and GIMP.
- Manage website and server migrations for equipment upgrades and site launches.
- Develop and update SOP documents for various tasks and duties within the IT Department.
- Troubleshoot issues with office equipment (laptops, monitors, printers)
- Assist in monitoring ticket tracking system and respond to incoming requests for help via all supported methods, during all assigned time periods, in accordance with company policies and departmental procedures.
- Adhere to company and industry best practice standards for application troubleshooting. This includes documentation, incident replication and trend analysis.
- Create positive and flourishing relationships with internal customers.
- Collaborate with various other departments and groups to proactively find solutions and efficiencies for day-to-day and last minute projects.
- Assist in routine maintenance of company servers and equipment
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Software Development or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Power user knowledge of modern operating systems and IT networks/infrastructure.
- 1+ year(s) work experience of programming languages PHP, HTML, CSS, & Javascript.
- Working knowledge of Active Directory and Exchange (new user and mailbox setup)
- Ability to work in both Windows and Linux environments
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Experience with Windows and Microsoft Office.
- 2+ years working with cross functional teams to resolve customer issues in a timely manner.
- Demonstrated experience supporting business applications on an enterprise scale.
- Highly organized.
- Ability to quickly acquire and master unfamiliar technical skills.
- Must be able to pass MVR check
