Who You Are
Interested in developing full-stack web applications that display reporting information for customers?
As a Senior Web Reporting Software Engineer, you would design, code, debug, and implement newly created web applications. You would deploy the code on various servers. This role is team-oriented, as you will collaborate with other highly technical engineering staff to accomplish project deliverables.
- Develop the functionalities of the new features, using coding languages such as, JavaScript, SQL queries, CSS, HTML, and Java 11
- Create responsive full-stack user interface development, using Spring Boot and Bootstrap
- Perform unit, manual, and regression testing on all developments
- Identify bugs within deployed code by investigating the production server logs for errors and find solutions using code debuggers (Chrome and Eclipse)
- Perform deployments on various development production serves using Docker and Jenkins
- Review coworkers code to ensure it is free from errors and syntax is correct
- Revisit old code to identify if code refactoring is necessary
- Document the project process in Confluence to demonstrate what the application does
Qualifications:

- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or another related field
- 4-5+ years of experience in web application development or coding role
- Experience working with software engineers in a highly technical environment
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle
- Experience with Java 8-11, Spring Boot, JavaScript, SQL, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap
- Experience with Git or a similar version control system
- Knowledge of general Linux commands
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker, preferred
- Experience with Chrome debugger, Eclipse debugger, and Sonar QUB, preferred
- Knowledge of writing unit test cases, preferred
