Job Description Summary
The Workday Functional Architect will have responsibility for the successful implementation, integration, and customization of Workday applications from project initiation to production roll-out. The successful candidate will have business process architect experience gathering requirements, designing, delivering, and supporting business transformation using Workday in areas of HCM, Compensation, Advanced Comp, Security, Absence Management and Recruiting.
Job Duties

  • Architect/Develop and implement scalable, flexible solutions that are extensible to future business needs in areas of Workday HCM, Comp, Recruiting, Talent and Security
  • Conduct working sessions with users to gather, understand, and analyze business requirements.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on key business process decisions
  • Advise stakeholders on industry standards to provide suggestions to achieve clean configuration and streamlined processes
  • Design and implement requirements in Workday HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Security and Talent solutions
  • Demonstrate configurations using prototyping
  • Understand Workday's Implementation Methodology and use it on all projects
  • Work with developers, project managers, business analysts, and quality assurance staff to ensure that they fully understand the requirements, which includes reviewing high-level technical designs and detailed testing documentation
  • Ensure the users takes advantage of Workday best practices
  • Support Workday feature release updates and enhancements
  • Develop, maintain, and support point-to-point and multi-points Integration Connectors
  • Apply development best practices and structured EAI principals to develop the integrations
  • Document the technology specifications of the integrations
  • Work in collaboration with other team members on the requirements, design specifications, development, testing, and successful deployment of the Integration solution

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key accountabilities of the job required
  • Designs and develops technical solutions to business requirements and develops components including EIB, Report Based, Studio, SOA and BPEL integrations
  • Deep understanding of Workday security and ownership of end-to-end security design across Workday modules
  • Deep understanding of Workday data model, corporate system architecture, interfaces, reporting, and data loading procedures
  • Deep understanding of Workday Master Data design and configures changes to meet changing business needs
  • Strong expertise in cloud-based multi-tenant systems
  • 2+ years' experience with Jitterbit developing enterprise connectors / integrations
  • Proven experience building components of a Salesforce system to integrate with Jitterbit
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com technical architecture
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong ability to work with others on solutions
