About the role:
Our Accounting Managers oversee product accounting, general accounting, financial reporting, and the Payroll/AP functions. We have a philosophy and proven track record of rotating our people through various roles/responsibilities to broaden their skillset and keep the learning curve steep. We are looking for people that can hit the ground running on Day 1 by learning the business and our processes and then making improvements. Some of these improvements will come from your background, and some we will teach you along the way. What you’ll be doing:

  • Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of accounting, which may include product accounting, general accounting, and financial reporting.
  • Drive continuous improvement and standardization within the functional area.
  • Lead accounting SaaS system configuration changes and roll out of new releases
  • Manage and mentor staff and help guide their development.
  • Maintain internal control processes and standards.
  • Perform other related duties or ad hoc projects within the scope of responsibilities, including M&A deals, securitizations, new system implementations, etc. 

We’re excited about you if you have: 

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • A CPA license
  • 5+ years of experience in a corporate accounting department
  • A combination of Big 4 Accounting firm and public company industry experience preferred
  • Analytical with demonstrated project management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – written and oral
  • Proven ability to develop relationships across departments as both a leader and a participant
  • Experience with Workday Financials is a plus
  • MS Office skills, particularly Excel
