The role is an opportunity for an experienced Accounts Receivable professional to support a fast-paced entrepreneurial organization that is passionate about food brands and seeks to continually use optimal business tools and innovative ways to deliver for our clients and customers. Our business teams are nimble, dynamic and hungry to deliver innovative products and solutions on a global scale.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a solid understanding of the order-to-cash lifecycle, management of SKUs, inventory management, accrual accounting, and have a strong grasp of accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities may include:
  • Creating, revising and sending Proformas to the Sales team
  • Prepare final invoices
  • Generate credit notes for overpayments and customer claims
  • Update account receivables records
  • Partner with Credit and Collection departments to optimally manage billing and cash flow

Requirements
Basic Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience working in the Finance team of a mid-sized business, preferably in the wholesale food and beverage or CPG industry
  • 1-2 years of experience working on A/R management
  • High school degreed

Preferred Skills/Experience
  • Associates or Bachelors degree preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Intermediate office software user skilled, including Excel, Word, QuickBooks Enterprise or other CRM and ERP systems
  • Able to multitask, work accurately and independently
  • Extreme attention to detail and willingness to take initiative and resolve issues proactively
  • Able to collaborate with different teams and team members
  • Positive and professional demeanor
