About the Accounts ReceivableSpecialist at Showpad
As an Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist you’ll be responsible for carrying out billing, collection, and reporting activities for our go-to-market organisation and across all regions. The AR Specialist ensures the customer pays open invoices and addresses billing related issues in a timely fashion. Fostering effective working relationships with external customers, as well as internal partners including Sales and Operations is key for this role.
You will report to the Global Manager OTC, who is based out of Ghent, Belgium.
Key Responsibilities for an Accounts Receivable Specialist at Showpad
- Accurate and timely invoicing service across all entities (US and EMEA)
- Effective and timely management of billing queries within the team, across the organization and from our customers
- Monitoring accounts to identify the outstanding balances, effective collections process of overdue payments across all entities (US and EMEA) and assisting in the achievement of collection targets
- Keeping the right balance between maintaining the customers’ trustful relationships and ensuring timely payments
- Manage all customer interactions related to billing and collections, including vendor registration processes and responding to customers questions.
- Maintaining and keeping the customers master data records up to date
- Establish and maintain effective and cooperative across-departmental working relationships
- Provide accurate, timely reporting on collections and accounts receivable status
- Commit to continuous learning and innovation
Required Skills for an Accounts Receivable Specialist at Showpad
- Strong communication skills
- Highly organized, and an ability to execute with excellent attention to detail
- Strong work ethic, ability to adapt to rapidly-changing environments and processes
- Strong customer service mindset

- Previous experience in collections and billing
- Experience with Salesforce and/or Netsuite
