The Impact You Will Make
- To succeed in this role, you must be innately curious, deeply analytical, highly driven and a strong communicator to protect our product from being exploited by fraud attempts
- Support business leaders within Product, Logistics, and Fraud to identify and solve business problems and understand the financial implications
- Be a consultant to the Fraud Operations team to design and implement analytical based solutions
- Monitor KPIs and business drivers for different sources of Fraud - highlighting trends and investigating underlying causes of variance
- Perform advanced analytics to better understand the critical drivers of fraud - including but not limited to diner behavior, restaurant relationships, and Promo Abuse
- Prepare KPI reports distributed daily, weekly and monthly to the Executive and Senior Teams
- Be curious! Find data nuggets, trends and other analytical goodies that help us grow faster and generate more profit
About the Team:
- This role reports to the Fraud Analytics Manager directly supporting the priorities and objectives of the Fraud Director and two Senior Managers
- The Fraud Analytics team sits on a larger centralized Business Analytics team within the Finance organization to create and instill a level of analytical expertise
- There are lots of opportunities to move diagonally across different analytical silos within the larger team or across the Finance/Analytics Organizatio n
What You Bring to the Table
- BA/BS in an analytical discipline such as Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Finance, or Economics
- 1-2 years of experience in an analytical role, preferably in a fraud/risk focused role
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to dive deep, summarize, and communicate important data
- Highest standards of accuracy and precision; extremely organized
- Interest in Mathematical Modeling, Decision Science, and Machine Learning
- SQL skills required
- Data Visualization (Excel or Tableau preferred) skills required
