POSITION SUMMARY
bswift is currently seeking an experienced OA Consultant (Billing Analyst) to join our team. We are looking for career-minded, talented individuals, seeking to grow their skills and grow with the organization. 

Located in downtown Chicago, bswift offers software and services that streamline benefits, HR and payroll administration for employers and public and private exchanges nationwide. bswift offers various billing and insurance carrier reconciliation services to customers in conjunction with the delivery of benefits administration services and technology. The primary focus of this role will be on healthcare exchanges, although there are also COBRA and Retiree administration customers as well. 

Fundamental Components:
The OA Consultant is responsible for accounts receivable and client billing analysis. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Preform timely and accurate posting of cash receipts by way of Lockbox, ACH and Wire Transfers
Prepare monthly insurance carrier bills and payments along with the underlying reconciliation
Manage internal and external inquiries regarding billing and accounts receivable
Process ACH and Wire Transfers for payments to Carriers and Brokers
Partner regularly with the Client Service teams and Call Center to ensure vetting, integration and sharing of processes, and that information is shared in a timely manner with a focus on the overall client relationship with bswift
Assist in the broker / carrier commission administration 
Continuously work with the team to improve the processes, workflow, and controls and maintain/manage process documentation

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:
One to two years of experience in accounting processes is REQUIRED. 
Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting is REQUIRED. 
Experience with reconciling activities is preferred. 
Strong Microsoft Excel skills (V-Lookup, Pivot Tables, etc.)
Familiarity with internal controls processes, preferably SOX compliance
Strong communication skills, ability to be client-facing
Strong understanding of accounting principles. 
Self-starter with a positive personality who can contribute to the bswift culture

EDUCATION
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
