Provi is seeking a committed, experienced, and energetic individual to join our team as Director of Accounting to help us with our accounting practices and financial reporting.

What you’ll be doing

Oversee all operational accounting

Hire, train and lead the accounting team

Responsible for the timely and accurate monthly close process

Implement, standardize, and oversee internal control environment ensuring appropriate design and operating effectiveness.

Identify and rollout best practices to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting and financial reporting function.

Responsible for the timely and accurate processing of financial transactions

Prepare monthly financial statements.

Lead the annual audit process

What we are looking for

10+ years in accounting roles both as a leader and as an individual contributor in industry and/or Public Accounting

Previous experience in high growth startups or previous experience building accounting processes from the ground up.

Comfortable with a high growth environment which requires a hands on approach

Experience as a manager of accounting staff

Strong technical accounting background with a thorough knowledge of US GAAP

Detailed oriented individual
