Director of FP&A

As a member of the Finance Team at PEAK6, you will have a big impact on the firm by adding your financial experience to our organization and its employees, in a rapidly growing environment and team. Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly reporting packages for senior management that analyzes the financial results of PEAK6’s businesses
- Review monthly operating results to identify key trends, variances and areas of improved performance
- Prepare annual budget and ongoing analysis of budget versus actual results; create and maintain detailed budgeting templates
- Analyze data and prepares recommendations on new revenue opportunities and expense reduction initiatives to drive profitability
- Continuously improve financial management processes and analytical tools needed to deliver monthly reporting, budgeting and cash flow forecast results
- Drive cross-business standardization for all FP&A processes, taking into account all PEAK6 entities.
- Build and enhance financial models to evaluate new business opportunities
You’ll gain loads of experience in this role but before you do, you should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related degree
- 7-12 years’ experience in accounting, finance or FP&A
- A tech forward approach to managing day to day tasks
- Strong analytical ability and motivation to solve problems with high attention to detail
- Ability to professionally collaborate with colleagues and management
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks within an established timeline
- Must be a team player and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong commitment to ethics and integrity
