About the position
As an Accounting Analyst at Tock, you will be joining a growing team and will get broad exposure to the financial and accounting operations atf Tock. You will be responsible for managing our customers’ plans and billing set up, banking activity, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger integrity. As an Accounting Analyst, you will work with a roster of esteemed restaurants and gain an understanding of the tech industry and software as a service (SaaS). The ideal candidate has an Accounting or Finance degree, is very detail oriented, manages their time well, demonstrates excellent communication skills and has a team first mentality.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- 1 - 2 years experience in a professional business environment
- Detail Oriented
- Ability to understand the terminology used in the hospitality industry
- Must be a quick learner with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work full time in our Chicago office when it reopens
- Advanced Excel skills (excel test will be given during interview process)
What you’ll do
- Assist with new customer onboarding, billing and other requests
- Process daily cash deposits and payments
- Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
- Gain exposure to Financial Statement management
- Assist in monthly closing process
