 What we’re looking for:

A dynamic finance/accounting associate to support finance and accounting functions including management reporting, invoicing, accounts payables management, accounts receivables management, general ledger preparation, bill payment, and other finance and accounting related activities.

The ideal candidate isn’t afraid to step up and help wherever is needed, even if it doesn’t directly tie to his or her area of responsibility. We are a high-growth business and you will be well-positioned to take on additional responsibility as we ramp our operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for timely financial and accounting day-to-day execution
  • Support all the accounting functions using Quickbooks – billing, treasury, AR/AP, etc.
  • Work with Finance Manager / COO to produce financial reports for senior management and external board/parties
  • Actively participate in the execution and optimization of month end, quarter end, and year end closings
  • Work closely with sales and operations teams to create Purchase Orders and Invoices
  • Provide information for auditors and various other special projects
  • Proactively make recommendations and share ideas on how to improve business processes to help financial health of company
  • “Roll up your sleeves” on more administrative tasks such as supporting executive team on expense reporting, booking travel, etc.
  • Help build and manage a set of robust management reports, including daily/weekly sales metrics, operating efficiency metrics, accounting dashboards, etc.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or other business related field
  • Fantastic communicator – both oral and written
  • Understands and is able to apply technical accounting concepts
  • Strong technology skills across Microsoft products (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Previous experience with Quickbooks is preferred, but not mandatory
  • Experience working with startups or successful technology companies a plus
  • Strong work ethic, willing to “do whatever it takes” to get the job done
  • Flexible, able to work independently
  • Thrives in a fast pace, constantly changing environment
