The Paylocity Sales Finance team is seeking a highly motivated individual that has a desire to continue to grow their career and build business partnerships along the way. The Sales Financial Analyst will be a key member of the growing Sales Finance team at Paylocity with responsibilities including financial modeling, sales analysis and other required sales finance duties in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll do:

• Perform certain financial analysis to evaluate the operating performance of various sales segments, including the evaluation of overall sales performance 
• Assist in the preparation of various presentations to highlight key sales metrics and opportunities which will be presented to the Sales leadership
• Build and maintain dashboards in Excel that will support key business partners in the sales organization
• Partner with our Channels & Alliances team in order to optimize reporting and tracking of key metrics
• Play an integral role in the formation of the annual budget, including expense and revenue planning
• Maintain and update various financial metrics and ratios to assist management in the evaluation of business performance
• Prepare certain aspects of the financial analyses that supports monthly and quarterly close. Work with more experienced team members to identify areas that require further investigation
• Assist with various ad-hoc requests as needed

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree required with focus in Accounting or Finance preferred; other quantitative-focused majors may be considered
• 1-2 years of relevant experience
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Salesforce experience is a plus
