Financial Analyst
Our team is looking for an exceptional Financial Analyst for our high-growth environment. The ideal candidate will be hungry to take on responsibilities and prepare to roll up their sleeves to expanding the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function. The Financial Analyst is responsible for the analysis of the Company’s financial results and support of the annual financial and operating budgets & forecasts. The Analyst will also be responsible for preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual analyses of financial performance variances. The Analyst will partner with operational teams and key business leaders and will work with both US & India groups. This position will report directly to the VP Finance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead preparation of financial reporting package for internal management reporting, highlighting key business issues, variance vs budget and prior year, and the trend of major revenue and expense metrics
- Analyze budget vs actual figures from the income statement and balance sheet by department, highlighting key business issues as well as the trend of expenses
- Compile financial metrics for quarterly Board meetings
- Navigate financial reporting under both GAAP & Management books
- Support annual operating plan and monthly budget & forecast process
- Support Financial Reporting/Planning system implementation to improve efficiencies and visibility across organization
- Support Finance team with other analysis as needed
- Maintain & leverage tools and systems to ensure quick, reliable access to data and information tools
Qualifications:
- BS. degree in finance or accounting
- 1-2 years of experience in Finance or related field
- Extremely detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the desire to learn, grow & seek increased responsibility
- Experience in fast-paced environment a plus
- Ability to work closely and effectively in team environment across all facets of the Company
- Strong interpersonal and consultative communication skills with well-developed presentation skills
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage competing priorities and deadline pressures effectively
- Familiarity with business and financial modeling in P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow
- Advanced Excel skills
- Familiarity with financial analysis and planning software applications (Intacct, NetSuite) as well as Microsoft Office applications
