Operations Specialist

Overview:

Gladius Capital Management is an alternative asset management firm seeking an Operations Specialist focused on Trade Support. Competitive salary with potential bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Interface daily with fund administrator, prime brokers, swap counterparties and trading desks
• Perform daily cash and position reconciliations of prime broker, custody, counterparty and bank accounts
• Perform internal systems reconciliations of cash, positions and transactions
• Manage calculation of collateral requirements for OTC and Listed securities
• Reconcile valuations and collateral posted for OTC and Listed transactions
• Provide Trade desk requests support for transactions and positions including stock borrows
• Monitor corporate action and proxy tracking and processing
• Understands and supports a wide variety of Listed and OTC Global instruments including options, futures, equities, foreign exchange and swaps.
• Act as a liaison between various internal and external groups focusing on professionalism and efficiency
• Collaborating on projects with development, infrastructure, trading, operations, and many other groups within the firm

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of work experience in similar role (listed and OTC product experience
• Be self-motivated and continually look to improve current technology, operation, and support functions
• Technical proficiency in Python is preferred but not required
• Strong critical thinking and analyzing skills aimed to recognize and troubleshoot issues to creatively solve problems
• Excellent professional communication skills, both written and oral
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in a fast and high-pressure environment
