Financial Planner & Analysis Manager
Description
As a FP&A Manager at Syndigo, you will be responsible for leading company financial planning, reporting, and analysis. This role will partner with leadership across the organization to gather data and provide accurate financial information for budgeting, forecasting, and modeling. As a trusted advisor, the FP&A Manager will work on a variety of projects to optimize revenue and financial performance of the organization.
This role will report to the VP – Finance & Analysis and will be in Syndigo's office in Nashville, TN or Chicago, IL.
Role responsibilities
- Provide consistency and clarity in gathering data, conducting analyses, and preparing commentaries to explain financial results that allow for consolidated reporting
- Coordinate and advise on preparation of business cases and presentations
- Offer recommendations and analytical support for the development and tracking of company strategies and initiatives, including setting KPI's
- Coordinate the annual budget, periodic reforecast, and monthly close processes for the FP&A function
- Assist with ad hoc projects
Qualifications
- Bachelors’ degree or higher in related field, such as Business or Finance
- 5+ years of professional experience in financial planning and analysis
- Excellent analytical skills and business acumen
- Experience in complex data modeling and analysis within a SaaS or recurring revenue business model
- Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to professionally interact with a diverse blend of personalities to reach resolution and maintain strong relationships
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Experience with Netsuite and/or Salesforce preferred, but not required
