Financial Planning Associate
JOB SUMMARY
The Financial Planning Associate (FPA) is responsible for supporting EFG’s financial advisors and clients with respect to retirement income planning, investment management, life, disability income, long-term care insurance planning, and Qualified Retirement Plans. The FPA will be expected to add scale to EFG’s operation as well as demonstrate resourcefulness in the ability to leverage internal and external resources to deliver advice to EFG’s clients.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop an expertise in retirement income planning, investment management, life, disability income, long-term care insurance planning, and Qualified Retirement Plans
- Correspond with EFG’s clients as well as their tax and legal advisors
- Establish meaningful relationships with EFG team members and clients to thoroughly understand preferences and needs
- Identify and address efficiencies and/or improvements to our current financial planning offerings based on internal preferences and client feedback
- Assist in conducting industry research used to develop tools, resources, and marketing materials

- Bachelor’s Degree

- FINRA Series 7 License
- FINRA Series 66 License
- CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
EFG offers a competitive benefits and compensation package that includes paid vacation time, paid sick time, employer paid health insurance, 401(k)/Profit Sharing Plan, Employer Sponsored Cash Balance Plan, and Life Balance benefits. Salary range for this position is from $60,000 to $70,000, depending on experience.
EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Flexibility in working hours may be allowed, but the employee must work 40 hours each week to maintain full-time status. This position may require working occasional overtime and travel.
