tastytrade is looking for a Financial Support Specialist to join our team. This position is a great opportunity to learn the financial technology space in a start-up environment. The ideal candidate will possess the desire to work in a financial services organization where they will provide support to tastytrade customers via phone and email.

• tastytrade, founded in 2011, is a live financial network that produces eight hours of original programming each weekday providing financial information, investment strategies, and entertainment related to options trading and the stock market.
• tastyworks, launched in 2017, is an options brokerage built by the minds behind thinkorswim geared towards retrail traders who identify as do-it-yourself investors;
• The Small Exchange is a new futures exchange that plans to create smaller derivative products with retail traders in mind;
• quiet foundation is a free robo-advisory service for traders to review the strength of their portfolios; 
• luckbox is a print and online magazine focused on investment strategies and financial resources.
• dough, our most recently launched product, is a commission-free mobile stock-trading app.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, accurate, and efficient support via email and phone
• Work with customers to identify their needs as a self-directed investor and provide solutions in a timely manner
• Partner with the tastyworks support team to identify solutions
• Relay relevant feedback from the front lines of customer interaction to senior management 
• Question processes and find efficiencies and creative ways to positively increase the customer experience

Skills and Qualifications

• Strong track record of performance and integrity, with proven experience as a great team player
• Customer service experience in retail brokerage or other financial services firm a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills, efficacy in customer interactions, and the ability to identify appropriate solutions
• Technologically proficient 
• Strong multitasker
• Interest or passion for entrepreneurship, growth, and building a dynamic and fun culture
• Interest or experience in exploring the world of investing, finance, and trading
• Excellent writing and communication skills
