Hi, welcome to PerkSpot. We’re looking for a smart and organized FP&A Analyst to join our team and analyze financial performance to help the company meet our goals, track results, and achieve growth.
At PerkSpot, we are looking for a new team member to join the Financial Planning and Analysis team who will help us build out processes to support PerkSpot initiatives. In this role, you’ll be partnering closely with the FP&A Manager, as well as working with stakeholders across the organization, to measure KPIs and analyze financial performance with the goal of helping the company meet our goals, provide insights on financial performance, and support the business in scaling towards high growth.

Meet the Finance Team
The position reports to the FP&A Manager and collaborates with the FP&A Analyst and CFO.
Life as a FP&A Analyst:
- Producing monthly and weekly reports which include key metrics, insights into financial results, and variance reporting
- Monthly Budgets vs Actuals reporting and meetings with budget owners
- Collaborating with the full Finance team to drive the monthly forecasting and annual budgeting process
- Partnering with stakeholders across the organization to develop business cases and evaluate ROI for strategic initiatives
- Providing ongoing analysis and project support to management to achieve growth
- Identifying opportunities for performance improvement across the organization
What we’re looking for:
- 2+ years of finance experience
- An Excel wizard and comfortable working with large data sets
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Able to work effectively with colleagues cross functionally
- Self-leadership: an ability to take ownership of work and show initiative as needed
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and dynamic environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy required
- Innately curious with the desire to learn
- Experience with Salesforce and Domo are a plus
- Bachelor’s degree – in Accounting or Finance
Your First Few Months:
In your first few months, you will meet the team and immerse yourself in the culture of PerkSpot. You’ll learn the ins and outs of the business and how we collaborate and win as a company. As a key member of this team, you will become familiar with the financial reporting and accounting processes to understand how our team impacts the greater business. Additionally, you’ll gain an understanding of overall KPIs, as well as success drivers and metrics for the individual departments of PerkSpot.

Chicago + Remote: We have a solid footprint in Chicago, but we also hire exceptionally talented people who reside elsewhere.
We love the friendships we've forged in our Chicago office. But let's be real; things have changed. We don't plan to all return 100% in-office, but our office and gym are open on an optional basis for all employees who feel comfortable, including happy hours and team events. However, because culture and relationships are important to us, all candidates should be open to being in-office with their teams at pre-arranged times throughout the year. The specifics vary by role, so please discuss your plans with the hiring team.
