Fraud/ Payouts Specialist
Do you obsess over details and have a knack for customer service? The Reverb.com fraud team is expanding, and we're looking for a new team member to help ensure a top-notch experience for our customers while mitigating risk for the company.
Responsibilities:
- Read messages, process tracking info and compose risk profiles to determine whether users are eligible to receive payouts.
- Assess risk to ensure payouts are being properly distributed.
- Monitor month end receivables/collections.
- Follow up on unpaid statements and negative balances.
- Ensure record keeping is accurate and updated.
- Actively manage the purchase approval queue while mitigating loss exposure.
- Monitor and respond to chargebacks.
- Evaluate users’ behavior and activity for approval or suspension.
- Handle administrative tasks regarding bounced ACH payments.
- Send and respond to customer support tickets related to payments.
- Consistently update and manage spreadsheets used to report trends.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure a great customer experience while preventing losses.
- Handle additional tasks associated with a fast-growing company.
Requirements:
- Comfort using spreadsheets (Google Sheets, Excel, Open Office), including formulas.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
- Willingness to learn new skills on the fly and receive regular feedback.
- Prior fraud, payments, or risk management experience is a plus but not a prerequisite.
- Availability to work one weekend day (can be remote).
