What You'll Bring
Technical Skills:
You will have the ability to understand and assess the architecture of the target organization and articulate how the architecture aligns with industry best practices as well as with TransUnion’s own technical architectures.
You will have a foundational understanding of Information Security practices of infrastructure, data, and application layers of technology.
You will be able to articulate how the target’s application will integrate with our own application architecture as an end-state outcome of integration.
Execution & Collaboration:
You will be comfortable presenting due diligence architecture, information security, and transaction financial details to various executive stakeholders (EVP, SVP, VP, etc.), while having an ability to demystify complex concepts by speak plainly to non-technical audiences.
You will be able to synthesize the findings of diligence effort and be able to create a costing model for the acquisition with clear articulation of one time and recurring capital and operational expenses for 5 years which comfortable presenting and defending costing to various technology and business stakeholders
You will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to deliver results by collaborating with team members & various business stakeholders. You’ll be able to adjust priorities, remove impediments, and escalate to senior leadership as required.
Impact You'll Make
Our M&A Enterprise Architecture team provides the leadership and oversight for the pre-diligence, due diligence, and integration of New Business Development efforts, M&As, and Investments by executing various activities that are in-scope of our technical and information security programs. The Global M&A Architect is the key player in the team and is accountable to make this happen.
You will evaluate prospective targets technology portfolio, develop perspectives on what level of maturity the organization is at, identify risks & develop integration strategies to address them.
You’ll develop technology integration budgets that include all aspects of integration which include but may not be limited to corporate IT systems, new application integration development, portfolio asset rationalization or strategic investments deemed necessary by the project business case.
You’ll assist in the development of the overall transaction business case, bringing your technical perspective of the target company to our executive leadership.
Based on needs of the organization you may also contribute to other strategic projects the organization may require which our high performing team is uniquely able to deliver upon that will be technical in nature but outside of our primary mission of Corporate Development.
