Responsibilities:
More specifically consultants get involved with our clients in the following project experiences:
- Assist in diligence for evaluating assumptions of future financial performance
- Assist in advising clients in a M&A sale scenario
- Analyze client financial data to identify trends and operational characteristics
- Perform searches for potential buyers/investors
- Assist in the process of buying or selling a business, financing a business or in business transition planning
- Assist with marketing and business development
- Assist with the preparation of confidential information memorandums and other marketing materials.
- Assist in the set-up and maintenance of Data Rooms
- Prepare presentations for prospects and existing clients
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics preferred
- Candidates with secruity licenses in Series 63 and Series 79 highly preferred
- This position will be based in our Minneapolis or Philadelphia office
- Requires 1-3 years of previous experience in investment banking, private equity, strategy consulting, corporate development or similar role
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize work effectively
- Ability to balance many projects simultaneously
- Ability to work under pressure and time deadlines
- Ability to analyze data and recommend solutions
- Strong oral, written, presentation, and interpersonal skills required to communicate with clients and staff.
- Advanced Knowledge required in Microsoft Excel
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
