Job Description
How You’ll Do It
Support the development, preparation and distribution of Compensation and Leadership Development Committee meeting materials which includes partnering with key stakeholders such as legal, finance, accounting and risk as well as the Committee’s outside advisors.
Contribute to the strategy, design, development, administration and execution of compensation programs for executives such as base salary, short-term incentive, long-term incentives, executive benefit programs and perquisites, financial and tax treatment of programs, governance and required disclosures.
Engage executives through the development of communication materials and training programs on executive compensation. Act as first line of support for executive inquiries and requests in area of expertise.
Manage various executive compensation projects and change management of projects ensuring deliverables are met and on time; Identify, evaluate, recommend and implement plans and processes for streamlining and efficiency improvements as it relates to executive compensation.
Conduct job reviews using job evaluation and leveling techniques to properly align jobs equitably within the organization and competitive to the market. Develop compensation recommendations for internal and external executive candidates, utilizing internal methodology/equity analysis and external market data while adhering to compliance and regulatory standards.
Support the equity administration team with compliance, reporting, planning and communications.
Monitor emerging trends in executive compensation, staying current on legislation, proxy advisory firm policies, exchange requirements and governance best practices.
Qualifications You’ll Need
The Basics
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field
6+ years of experience in Executive Compensation, Broad-Based Compensation or related field
2+ years of experience in Executive Compensation
In lieu of education, 6+ years of experience in Compensation, Human Resources, Finance or related field
Bonus Points If You Have
Master’s Degree in Human Resources or related field
2+ years of experience in Financial Services, Banking industry or related field
CECP and/or CCP
