What we are looking for:

We are looking for a self-starter, roll-up-your-sleeves, passionate Manager of Finance to join high-growth, venture-backed GovTech company. You will report to the Vice President of Finance, working closely with the CEO and COO, and will be responsible for owning and leading a variety of finance activities. You will have a particular focus on budgeting, expense policies, forecasting, and KPIs.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Vice President of Finance with the preparation of monthly and quarterly forecasts, as well as the annual operating plan
• Drive the development of reporting on KPIs to management and the Board
• Own the projection model and participate in the fundraising process by supporting the VP Finance, COO & CEO in providing analysis and information to prospective investors
• Over time, hire, manage, and mentor additional team members

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or similar education through work experience is required
• A CPA, CMA or CFA designation is helpful but not required
• 4+ years of progressive experience in investment banking, private equity, or management consulting
• Experience in an early stage or startup environment is helpful but not required
• Must be an Excel ninja
• Must be exceptionally detail oriented and conscientious with respect to work product
• Expert knowledge and understanding of financial analysis and reporting.
