Shiftgig is looking for a payroll analyst to work with our payroll manager and one coordinator to assist in processing up to 5 payrolls per week.  This position will support the team by collecting, reviewing, reconciling, and preparing payroll information for upload into ADP Workforce Now.  This individual will be trained in all aspects of processing the various payrolls.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain employee confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential.

• Process payroll information by calculating and entering data for payroll submission.

• Manage hours entry and submission by reviewing timesheets and rosters.

• Research and respond to payroll related questions and requests.  We use Zendesk.

• Assist with wage garnishment requests (we outsource to ADP)

• Verify timekeeping records and consult with Specialist/Customer Success about any discrepancies.

• Record payroll data in our software system and verify all amounts.

• Always look for ways to improve processes.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, keyboard shortcuts)

• Positive attitude

• ADP experience preferred

• 2 to 3 years payroll experience
