Payroll Specialist

What You'll Do:
- Supports and executes the production and distribution of bi-weekly payroll cycles, special payments, and year-end W-2 processing for a mid-size organization, including salaried and hourly employees
- Process commission earnings
- Prepare and execute pay orders through an electronic system
- Process taxes and payments on employee benefits
- Know and keep current with the taxation of salaries, benefits and other factors
- Address employee inquiries regarding payroll issues or concerns
- Assist Benefits Manager with projects as needed
- Analyze and research financial information
- Input data for new hires, pay rate changes, separations, deductions, paid time off and manual checks
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Knowledge of payroll and employment laws, practices and procedures
- 1-3 years of prior experience in payroll
- Experience with ADP payroll software and systems
