Position Overview
The Payroll Tax Analyst is primarily responsible for balancing the Payroll system to the Tax System and reconciling variances for new and existing customers. They need to ensure that issues and errors are resolved while collaborating with internal and external teams to strengthen processes and deliverables.

- Responsible for tax reconciliation for cyclical processing and end of the period activities including resolving and researching demographic, wage, and liability errors and issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure sound tax services and high levels of customer service
- Stay up-to-date on all changes required to support tax reporting agencies such as taxability changes
- Participate in balancing activities related to new customers shortly after their payroll implementation
- Participate in balancing activities related to amended filing requests
- Respond to internal support requests from the Client Services, Implementation, and payroll ops teams
- Maintain process documents
- Amendment error review and collection and filing assessment
- Collaborating with other team members including training new hires
- Complete special projects as assigned by management
- Execute interim and quarterly scheduled tasks as assigned
- Other duties as assigned.
