We have flexibility in client work and hours to fit your personal needs and commitments outside of work! This is a remote position and can be based anywhere in the US!
Responsibilities:
- Respond to client and firm associate requests in a timely, accurate, positive and professional manner
- Prepare client correspondence, letters, e-mail, or other communications pertaining to engagement planning and requests
- Communicate with engagement leaders regarding open items, testing problems, or other important matters in a timely manner
- Perform and complete clients' daily, monthly and annual full cycle accounting transactions ensuring that client engagement deadlines are met consistently
- Prepare (or review client prepared) financial statements and, management reports, and other engagement output
- Assist with providing direction and guidance to Staff and intern level associates including review of work
- Adhere to prescribed budgets and deadlines
- Develop technical competency with GAAP.
- Manage day-to-day financial reporting accuracy for assigned clients utilizing available tools to ensure efficient client workflow and on-time processing of client information
- Provide assistance with more complex general ledgers identifying missing transactions and trends to ensure overall accuracy
- Provide guidance on the review and approval of account classification
- Review balance sheet for accuracy and coordinate resolution
- Utilize available tools and coordinate project tasks to ensure efficient client workflow
- Consult with clients to ensure alignment between client goals and project plans
- Participate in cross utilization of teams and/or lead software implementations, conversions and setups as assigned
- Participate in special projects/committees as requested
- Collaborate with Client Relations position
Qualification:
- Requires a Bachelor Degree in Accounting
- Requires 3-5 years of job related experience
- Public accounting experience preferred but not required
- CPA preferred but not required
