BLUE Software is an established enterprise software (SaaS) company and the market leader in our sector; we provide Brand Lifecycle Management Solutions to companies in the Consumer Goods, Retail, and Life Science/Pharma space. We are looking for a motivated Revenue Accountant to join our team as a full-time employee that will setup new customers, prepare reporting, and work with our legal team after contract execution.  

What you'll be doing:

• Prepare and review customer invoices to ensure accuracy
• Ensure customer invoicing needs are met and respond to customer inquiries when necessary
• Review customer contracts to ensure proper revenue recognition
• Receive and provide guidance on any revenue recognition questions received from the business
• Correspond with sales and legal functions in regard to finance requirements on customer contracts
• Complete all necessary revenue journal entries and reconciliations
• Preparation of monthly and ad-hoc revenue analytics for management

Minimum Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting/Finance or related Business Degree
• 1-4  years' proven experience in accounting and GAAP compliant process in a technology or professional services company.
• Must have experience with ERP software (NetSuite preferred, SAP, Oracle, Quickbooks)
• Detail-oriented and have a passion for helping a business report accurate results and implement controls.

• The ideal candidate will have experience working within a software or professional services environment.
