The Finance and Operations Manager at LearnCore is a dynamic position with significant responsibilities. This is perfect for a someone with a strong foundation in accounting and finance experience looking to join a growing company and lay the groundwork for our finance operations. The most successful person in this role will have experience with analytical and strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting financial and operational trends for our business. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience and is eager to grow into a key position with our team. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Improve accountability, efficiency and transparency across the business to drive better business decision making.
• Analyze monthly financial and operational trends and deliver company and department metrics to leadership.
• Partner with CEO to create and meet quarterly and annual budget for each department including Sales, Product, Marketing and Client Strategy.
• Manage systems to create an effective KPI metric program which will yield predictive data for forecasting and budgeting.
• Oversee and execute on Monthly Close, AP/AR, Invoicing and internal auditing.
• Create processes and manage contracts for a new sales, upsells and renewals transactions.
• Manage financing and EOY accounting items for the business.

REQUIREMENTS:

• BA/BS degree in accounting/finance or operations. CPA preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in a strategic finance operations role with an emphasis on budgeting/planning. (note: this is a mid-level position) 
• Proven track record in SaaS Subscription operations, budgeting, planning, and reporting; expert number cruncher.
• Incredible organizational skills and ability to create effective processes for team to manage.
• Ability to manage multiple finance or operation projects while delivering results on schedule.
• Strong history in upholding ethical standards.
• Positive attitude with a contagious work ethic. Creativity and a preference for working in small, collaborative teams.

• Fluent in Excel, Quickbooks, Salesforce.com.
• Extremely strong writing and verbal skills.
• A passion for LearnCore, technology, and working with clients.
• Humility for performing tasks outside of job scope when necessary.
