WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a hands-on Senior Accountant to join our growing SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting team. This individual will be a key person involved with financial statement preparation and disclosures for internal and external reporting. The ideal candidate will have experience with financial reporting in compliance with the Securities and Exchange Commission regulations and US GAAP.
This role will report directly to the Senior Manager, SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting and have exposure to the Senior Executives of the Company.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Assist in the preparation of the SEC filings (Form 10-Q, Form 10-K, Form 8-K) including financial statements and related disclosures
- Assist with XBRL tagging of financial statements and footnotes
- Prepare detailed tie-out and analyses for SEC filings, earnings call materials, and annual reports, to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper support is obtained
- Research technical accounting issues, communicate findings, and prepare related memos
- Performs analysis and special projects as required
WHO YOU ARE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required plus CPA certification or candidate preferred, not required
- 2+ years in public accounting or in-house corporate SEC reporting experience
- Experience with Workiva, Netsuite, and/or Adaptive is a plus
- Experience researching accounting issues and drafting technical memos a plus
- Highly organized and results-oriented and works well in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to meet tight timelines and manage multiple priorities
- Highly self-motivated, detailed oriented, flexible team player that is able to operate independently
- Solid verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
