Key responsibilities:

• Play a key role in the monthly close process by preparing journal entries, month-end accruals and managing account reconciliations.
• Prepare and review monthly financial statement variance analysis to understand month over month and quarter over quarter fluxes and be able to explain the activity to management.
• Assist management with M&A activities; help with the integration and transition of accounting activities for new companies post acquisition.
• Assist in development and implementation of new or enhanced processes in order to improve workflow efficiencies of the Accounting team.
• Assist management with audit and tax requests.
• Collaborate with other departments including Sales, Product and Engineering.  Communicate effectively with non-accounting teams.
• Specific projects and other ad hoc assignments as required
• Assist with coaching and mentoring Staff Accountants

 
We’re excited about you if you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance
• Experience with NetSuite preferred
• Salesforce experience is preferred
• Sound understanding of US GAAP and month end close processes
• 3-5 years of accounting experience; Public accounting experience is preferred but not required
• CPA is a plus
• Comfort in a high-growth, PE backed business environment
• A passion for nonprofits
