What We'll Bring:
The Senior Consultant, Market Development will join the Community Financial Institutions vertical team to help support growth and market development initiatives for TransUnion in the U.S. credit union and bank markets.
What You'll Bring:
- A minimum of 5 years of industry experience, gained working in or around bank or credit union environments
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, engineering, economics or marketing (or relevant work experience)
- Sound understanding of lending and credit functions within a financial institution
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Solid business acumen and decision-making skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex concepts into strategic advice
- Strong organizational and problem solving skills with a high degree of comfort working autonomously while managing multiple assignments
- Proven ability to build relationships with senior leaders within an organization
- Desire to produce high quality work
- Ability to travel up to 50%
What We'd Love to See:
- Master's degree in business, finance, economics or leadership desired, but not required
Impact You'll Make:
- Build capacity and subject matter expertise in the sales organization through a mix of ongoing programs and ad hoc partnership
- Create and publish engaging internal content synthesizing industry trends and TU capability, and ensure sales success using this content with customers
- Monitor and report on progress of key initiatives across our 5,000-strong customer base
- Represent TransUnion subject matter expertise in select community FI customer engagements
- Support key in-year initiatives critical to the achievement of the annual operating plan, including product introductions, customer migrations, and focused sales campaigns
- Grow a public industry thought leader profile, through occasional speaking and writing across TU or industry outlets
- Advocate for the voice of the market across the TransUnion matrix, including product development and marketing initiatives
- Support the continued transformation of TransUnion from a data provider to a solutions-based consultative business partner by successfully interfacing with, and gaining internal support from, all facets of the TransUnion organization
