ThinkMarkets is seeking a Financial Accountant to join our established Accounting Department. We are seeking a professional who has a great attention to detail to focus on all aspects of the accounting practices, particularly cost containment and report generating. 

Responsibilities:
 

• Perform day to day accounting duties in accounts payable, cash management, fixed assets, the general ledger and other duties as assigned including reconciliation of accounts 
• Assist senior accountants with the month end close
• Assist with financial statements’ audits
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reporting in cash management and forecasts, cost and expenses
• Fixed assets responsibilities include booking fixed assets’ transactions in the general ledger, calculating and maintaining depreciation schedules
• General ledger responsibilities include preparing and posting journal entries
• Month end close responsibilities include performing account reconciliations and analysis and preparing financial statements
• Daily/weekly/monthly report preparation, including daily house currency exposure, liquid assets report
• Assist on projects and other ad-hoc assignments as needed

Requirements:
 

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, with CPA
• 5-6 years of accounting experience
• Public accounting (Big 4) experience preferred
• Proficient in MS Office software, with advanced knowledge of Excel, Sun and Concur. 
• Trading operations, Financial and Capital Markets experience a big plus
• Experience with financial statements’ audits, forecasting, budgeting and multi-currency balance sheets.
• Knowledge of SAP, Salesforce, and SQL preferred
