Role:

The Senior Financial Analyst – FP&A will be responsible for monthly reporting and partnering with each department on budgeting and forecasting.  This role will be broad-based with a full P&L scope, interacting with each finance function including Pricing, Sales, Marketing, Operations and Supply Chain.  This role will also perform ad-hoc analysis to support our high-growth atmosphere and will be a key contributor to externally reported financials and board of directors materials.  This role will report to the Finance Manager and work out of our West Loop office.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Monthly financial reporting and close analysis including budget to actuals and variance analysis
  • Contributing to the annual budget, mid-year forecast, and monthly variance analysis
  • Customer, product and channel profitability analysis
  • Internal and third-party sales data and metrics along with pricing analytics
  • Collaborating with the innovation project managers to build new product P&Ls and determine retail pricing
  • Supporting the Marketing team budget and forecast as well as analyzing profitability of campaigns

Who you are:

  • Bachelors degree required
  • At least three years of previous finance experience, ideally in a CPG environment
  • Advanced Excel and modeling skills preferred
  • Strong problem-solving and analytic skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment and adhere to shifting priorities
  • Self-starter who can identify and diagnose process weak points
  • Tableau and NetSuite experience a plus
