The Senior FP&A analyst will play an integral role in the global forecasting, planning, and reporting process. He or she will partner with teams across the finance organization to develop and improve executive management packages, planning processes, financial models and analytics. This role will also provide ad-hoc analysis as needed to support and  influence senior leadership. This senior analyst will be a key member on the Global FP&A team based in Chicago headquarters and assist in system projects to streamline planning/reporting process. We are seeking strong analytical skills, excellent understanding of corporate finance fundamentals, along with a desire for consistent personal development. Strong financial acumen including experience with forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis is a requirement.  

You'll spend time on the following:

• Preparation and consolidation as part of the global FP&A cycle including monthly/quarterly budgeting & forecasting, annual plan setting, variance to forecast analysis, etc.

• Lead the development, monitoring and reporting of key operational metrics and drive processes to improve efficiency and quality

• Initiate, own and manage financial models that are used to set and measure key performance indicators

• Perform ad hoc global financial analysis to support key business decisions

• Work closely with regional finance, regional CFOs and other members of the global finance organization

• Ad-hoc deep dives on pressing business issues

We're excited about you if:

• You have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 4+ years experience in Accounting or Finance

• You have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

• You are comfortable working with and analyzing Company financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statement) and relevant financial analysis metrics

• You are proactive, self-starter, and fast learner who is able to work independently on projects and has a track record for completing projects quickly, accurately, and with limited information

• You are systems savvy - comfortable with deep, data environments

• You are results-oriented, highly energetic, dynamic individual with hands on mentality

• You have experience in a multinational company operating across geographies

• You are familiar with ecommerce or retail environment

• You thrive in a fluid, fast-paced environment
