Senior Manager, Finance & Accounting

We are searching for passionate data driven professionals to join us at FTD Companies. The Senior Manager, Finance & Accounting rolewill facilitate the accuracy of financial reports supporting the many business units within our Floral-brand E-Commerce business.

You Will Contribute to preparation, accuracy, and ad hoc financial support to provide cost saving opportunities and direction to business owners. You will also help with;

• Work on reporting across multiple brands and ensure we have proper reporting for the organization and are consistent for reporting structures.
• Responsible for certain monthly financial close activities including, but not limited to, the preparation and review of month-end accounting reports, journal entries, accruals, variance analyses, cost center reviews, and account reconciliations. Meet with department managers to ensure the accuracy of monthly results and to understand and document variances to budget, forecasts and prior periods.
• The review and direct supervision of 4 financial analysts, including a review of journal entries, account reconciliations and analysis performed. Draft and communicate annual goals and performance appraisals for these individuals.

• possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and have the confidence to challenge the status quo in various situations.
• experience in accounting, internal controls, financial reporting, financial budgeting/planning and analytical projects in a medium or large size company.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to set clear expectations, hold others accountable and provide timely feedback and measurement of performance
• ERP Implementation experience a bonus
